Indirect Access in SAP: Everything You Must Know Before SAP Knocks on Your Door

Background

If you have been hiding under a rock for the last 3 years, you may be surprised to hear that SAP has stated to customers – In the past we encouraged you to use our software directly and indirectly, we have looked the other way and ignored indirect access usage for a few years, but now we are no longer taking a blind eye to this and feel that you should be paying for accessing your own data indirectly.  Sounds harsh, but unfortunately this is how many SAP customers feel.

Indirect access is not really a surprise to most organizations.
