Choosing the right name...

Many people have asked us how we found the name for the company. The answer is that we searched for a name that would represent the company’s vision --- to expand the ability of SAP customers to query the system without the need for professional consultants, self-programming, or external resources. 

We also wanted to call attention to the ability our product gives SAP customers to look at the system’s activity from high above, but still see the smallest details. That reminded us of the Pandion Raptor (Osprey), a member of the falcon family, that flies very high but can still spot fish in the sea far below.
